Former Mayor of Comalcalco Gregorio Arias Pérez (PRI) was executed this Tuesday night outside his homeauthorities revealed Tabasco.
The Governor Carlos Merinofrom Morena, reported that the crime occurred after 7:30 p.m.
“I regret the cunning murder of @goyoariasperez, former mayor of Comalcalco, and I express my condolences to family and friends,” he said.
“I have instructed the @FGETabasco to carry out the corresponding investigations and find the perpetrators of these events. Rest in peace.”

According to local reports, Arias Pérez, who was Mayor of Comalcalco from 2004 to 2006, He was killed with at least seven bullets on Calle Aquileo Juárez, in Colonia San Francisco.
Two subjects on a motorcycle fled after committing the crime in this municipality adjoining Paraíso.
The condolences of politicians were also joined by that of the PRI member Soraya Pérez.
“I am very sorry for the murder of my friend, party colleague and former municipal president of #Comalcalco, Goyo Arias, a man very loved in his town and who gave his life to others,” he said.
