This places Cuautitlán Izcalli as the town where the route of fear is born due to the connection it has with other towns. like Tlalnepantla and Naucalpanthe closest to Mexico City by way of the Peripheralthrough which thousands of people pass every day, which according to said survey also show a high percentage of residents who express anxiety when traveling in public transport units.
According to the document released by the National Institute of Statistic and Geography, Of the 8 municipalities in the State of Mexico where the population aged 18 and over said they were afraid of traveling in concession public service units, Cuautitlán Izcalli was at the head.
This survey revealed that the perception of insecurity in public transport among the population of that locality, in charge of the mayor Karla Fiesco García, is 94.1 percent, a figure that is the highest among the 8 municipalities cited by the INEGI, most of the Valley of Mexico.
