The Attorney General of the State of Mexico (FGJEM) obtained the link to the process of Irvin “N”, who is being investigated for his probable participation in the crime of aggravated express kidnapping, events that occurred in May 2021 in the municipality of Jilotepec.
According to the investigation initiated by this Institution, it was determined that on May 28 of last year, the now detainee and another individual arrived at a business destined for a mechanical workshop located on the Jilotepec-San Pablo Huantepec highway, in the community of Dexcaní Bajo, where the owner of the property and two of his relatives were.
Those involved allegedly pretended to be public servants and informed the victim that he was charged with the crime of breach of trust, since as a mechanic he had not fixed or returned a vehicle to a person that he had to repair.
Irvin “N” and his probable accomplice told the owner of the workshop that they would take said automotive unit, however, after carrying out a review on the site they were unable to locate it, so they removed a minor son of the victim from the property.
Those involved told the victim that in exchange for not taking the minor into custody, he would have to sign a promissory note, where he promised to pay an economic sum in a year and a half, in the same way they would have videotaped it with a cell phone; in said video this person promised to pay the money.
These events were reported to the Mexican Prosecutor’s Office, for which the respective investigation was integrated and with the progress in the investigation it was possible to establish the possible participation of Irvin “N” in the events, for which an arrest warrant was requested against him. .
In a joint action, Agents of the Investigative Police (PDI) and Public Security of Toluca executed a court order against this individual, for which he was transferred and admitted to the Jilotepec Penitentiary and Social Reintegration Center, where he was made available. of a Judge.
With the evidence collected and provided by this Social Representation, the Judicial Authority determined to initiate legal proceedings against this individual with a term of two months for the closure of the complementary investigation and precautionary measure of preventive detention.
The detainee must be considered innocent until a conviction is handed down against him.
The State Attorney General’s Office calls on citizens so that if they recognize this person as a likely participant in some other crime, they report them via email.
