The Capital Prosecutor’s Office released the arrest of four members of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), who according to the research, they are dedicated to supplying large quantities of drugs to local groupsamong them at Unión Tepito and the Tláhuac Cartel.
The announcement was made by the agency’s spokesman, Ulises Lara, who stressed that it was thanks to the intelligence work and exchange of information between agents of the PDI, the National Intelligence Fusion Center, the Ministry of National Defense and the Guard. National, which allowed the capture in the colony Doctores, Mayor Cuauhtemocalong with substances with the characteristics of known drugs such as marijuana, cocaine and crystal, a gram scale, a revolver-type firearm, as well as two vehicles.
“According to various investigations, Sergio “N”, aliases “The toast” or “Homer”; Jose Eduardo “N”, aliases “lalin”; Gustavo “N” and allan “N”, possibly they are members of a criminal cell at the service of the criminal group called “Jalisco New Generation Cartel” which operates in Jalisco, Mexico state and the Mexico City“.
“Among what was seized, there are approximately 200 doses of substances with characteristics typical of cocaine, as well as around 300 grams of the same substance; almost 70 doses of what could be marijuana, and around 250 grams of substances whose characteristics correspond to to those of the glass”, highlighted the spokesman in conference.
Background of the investigation indicates that in June 2021, Alberto “N”, a possible member of the aforementioned group and who was seized together with packages of probable cocaine, was arrested in the Morelos neighborhood.
The cabinet and field work carried out between the POIthe National Intelligence Fusion Center, the Ministry of National Defense and the National Guard made it possible to obtain information on other possible members of said criminal group, such as Sergio “N” aliases “The toast” or “Homer”, originally from Jalisco, who probably works as a drug distributor.
The investigations carried out indicate that Sergio “N”, possibly carry out the transfer of drugswith an area of operation in the municipalities of Tultitlan, Tlalnepantla Y Cuautitlanof Mexico stateas well as in the Mayors Gustavo A. Madero and Azcapotzalco.
It was also identified Jose Eduardo “N” aliases “lalin” as his collaborator, who possibly supports him in the transfer of narcotics destined for the Mexico City.
In addition, data was obtained from Gustavo “N”, the latter of Colombian nationality, and who possibly maintains constant activity in the vicinity of the Azcapotzalco mayor’s office.
