The terrible overturning of a vehicle on the Tlaxco-Tejocotal highway left a balance of four dead, yesterday afternoon.
According to police sources, it is presumed that the victims’ car, which was completely destroyed, was driven at excessive speed and therefore turned, left the road and ended up embedded in the base of a bridge.
The fatal accident occurred at kilometer 40 of this busy road that connects the states of Puebla and Tlaxcala, and the Sierra Norte.
The emergency services went to that place, encountering a terrible scene: the remains of two mutilated bodies, scattered on the asphalt layer; a vehicle reduced to scrap and, inside, two other corpses pressed between twisted iron.
Due to the state in which the vehicle was left and the way in which the bodies were found, road authorities deduced that the car could have gone at a speed of more than 150 km/h, which caused the driver to lose control and the accident occurred.
Thus, the four travelers lost their lives in this tragic accident. The victims were later identified, after the intervention of the ministerial authorities, with the names of Ricardo N., Luis Antonio N., Manuel N. and Luis Antonio N. (son).
