living in texas with 100° weather is insane that it melts my makeup off soon as I set foot outside my door. I learned makeup for the first time last year during the winter and recently started wearing it more often, I went on a date a few days ago and soon as I walked into the restroom to wash my hands I noticed my concealer sweating off and already dripping and cracking onto my cheeks, my eyeliner was fading as well,there wasnt even any more color from my lipstick on my lips at all. it was insanely terrible. thank god I could fix it but what are some good makeup products to prevent all of that in the future, im currently on a budget as well so drugstore makeup it is 😅

NYX do a fantastic setting spray – they have a few finishes but I use the matte finish one and it does a great job. I used to use Urban Decay but it’s just soo expensive. NYX liquid eyeliner doesn’t budge either, although if you’re new to makeup it might be a bit of a learning curve!
As for lips, you could always try a lip stain (doubles as blush too!) or even a tinted balm? I love the Fenty lip paints and find the staying power is incredible but they don’t come cheap unfortunately.
I’d also suggest prepping your base properly before starting your makeup, it can make a world of difference! The right SPF – moisturiser – primer – foundation combo is worth experimenting to find. Then pop a blotting powder in your bag when you go out for touching up when you’re feeling sweaty/oily.
