As part of the actions implemented by authorities in Mexico Cityarmed forces managed to capture six people linked to the Sinaloa cartel and to Jalisco Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG).
Offering the monthly security report, the head of the National Defense Secretariat, Luis Cresencio Sandoval, said that they were arrested on October 19 a man and a woman who deserted the CDS led by Joaquin “El Chapo Guzman”.
The military command detailed that the man and woman identified as George Ulysses “N” and Katia “N” created in the capital the New Empire cartelthat is dedicated to drug dealing in the Azcapotzalco mayor’s offices, Miguel Hidalgo.
The arrests were carried out by members of the National Guard and the Army, thanks to the intelligence work of the security and field cabinet of the National Intelligence Center, said the Secretary of Defense.
Meanwhile, on October 11, the security forces arrested four subjects allegedly related to the Jalisco New Generation Cartel.
Luis Cresencio Sandoval indicated that the subjects identified as Sergio “N”, Jose Eduardo “N”, Gustavo Adolf “N” and allan “N” were in charge of the distribution in Mexico City of drugs from Jalisco.
The head of SDEENA explained that individuals are considered as generators of violence on the Azcapotzalco City Hall and in the municipalities of Tultitlan, Tlalnepantla Y Cuautitlanin the Mexico state.
According to the official, the four men were detained at the Mayor Cuauhtemoc.
