A 27-year-old woman is in the Trumbull County jail and is facing a charge of endangering a child.
Amber “N” was arrested after officers went to her home on Scott Street in Newton Township on Tuesday.
A video circulating on social media shows a boy being abused, which also alerted authorities that something was wrong.
“I understand Facebook, and the rumors on Facebook, I think it was reported to the Sheriff’s Department and to us through Facebook, and we responded and ensured the safety of the child,” said Tim Schaffner of Trumbull County Children’s Services.
The victim is now in an emergency foster home through Trumbull County Children’s Services. Amber’s own children are staying with relatives.
