According to unofficial reports, a shootout on the Tecomitl-Tetelco highway, which crosses the border area between the municipalities of Tláhuac and Milpa Alta, left at least three dead and another wounded.
Presumably one of the victims died at the scene and two others died at the hospital where they were taken. Photographs of the area where the armed confrontation took place began to circulate on social networks. According to the images, the acts of violence broke out outside a grocery store, where the assaulted men were found. Unofficially it was pointed out that it was a machine gun attack perpetrated by a criminal group in San Nicolás Tetelco.
The shooting caused the closure of traffic on Avenida 5 de Mayo, which was cordoned off by personnel from the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC).
