This weekend four young people, two men and two women, were arrested for a traffic violation and when they were checked they found a firearm.
According to information from the Baja California State Citizen Security Force (FESC), the incident took place in Mexicali, in the Villas del Rey subdivision.
The young people were surprised because they were traveling in a speeding car and missed a stop. When the vehicle was inspected, the weapon was found among his belongings, a 19-millimeter Glock with a magazine with 14 useful cartridges.
Among the detainees there is a minor and a young woman who was identified by the authorities as Sherlyn “N”, 19, who is considered an “influencer” for having more than 100,000 followers on Instagram and posing with liquor and brand bags. .
The other detainees are Glenn José “N”, 18 years old, who said he was originally from Victorville, California, United States, and Francisco “N”, 20 years old.
All were made available to the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic.
