This Monday afternoon, agents from the Ministry of Citizen Security (SSC) arrested a subway user at the San Antonio Abad station, who allegedly assaulted some officers.
The events were recorded at the San Antonio Abad Metro station, on line 2, where a group of people attacked the elements of the Banking and Industrial Police assigned to surveillance in the facilities of the Collective Transportation System.
According to the SSC, the detained subject was referred to the Civic Court for assault and harassment of the authority after he apparently participated in a fight between a group of people who were drinking alcoholic beverages and members of the PBI.

The capital police pointed out that PBI elements had detected six people who were ingesting alcoholic beverages inside the building.
The SSC explained that in the face of this administrative fault they were asked to vacate the site, however, the people adopted a reluctant attitude and began to physically and verbally attack the uniformed men.
To avoid a confrontation, the support staff, in accordance with the protocol of action, reiterated to the users that they should vacate the facilities, who finally left the premises while continuing to insult and attack the officers,” explains the SSC in an information card. .
Likewise, these facts were notified to the PBI Corporate Supervision and Evaluation Directorate in order to integrate the corresponding investigation and request the declaration of all the police officers involved.
