There are numerous passages in the Christian Bible which allude to other gods.
Christians claim that god frequently revealed himself during the Old Testament times and not later or the present. Since the Bible talks of other Gods, it will mean that God’s ways were known to people then and some charlatans presented themselves and were accepted as God. There are countless admonitions in the bible to be wary of such fake gods. This suggests that gods were social constructs.
The concept of god had been created by humans like the Greeks and the Romans and the other thousands of civilizations, each of which had their own gods and which Christians claim are myths.
Christians believe that all the Gods mentioned in the Bible are false gods without the power to exhibit any supernatural qualities. However, supposed supernatural qualities of their Christian God is mythological and has never being observed or proved.
In Exodus, the magicians of the Pharaoh were able to match the “supernatural” display of the god of Moses until in the last contest. Moses´ god won by causing the 1st born of each family to die. Well, this could not be repeated by Pharaoh’s magicians anyway because the children were dead already. Perhaps they could have done it somehow. It was obvious that the god of Christians who created the world was no more powerful against other Gods. One can argue that in each case, the Christian God did not want to upstage the other gods or was unable. In fact, modern illusionists who are extensively sophisticated, if they could go back in time, would be made gods and have books written about them.
Why would the “true” Christian God reveal himself to only the writers of the Middle East and not the humans in Europe, Africa, South/North America or Asia. Each region conceived their own god using the same limited logic use by Christians today based on the ontological, cosmological, and teleological arguments. The Christian god has the same characteristics as the rest of them
In Exodus 32 we can note the ease with which any god could be created
“When the people saw that Moses was so long in coming down from the mountain, they gathered around Aaron and said, “Come, make us gods who will go before us. As for this fellow Moses who brought us up out of Egypt, we don’t know what has happened to him.” 2 Aaron answered them, “Take off the gold earrings that your wives, your sons and your daughters are wearing, and bring them to me.” 3 So all the people took off their earrings and brought them to Aaron. 4 He took what they handed him and made it into an idol cast in the shape of a calf, fashioning it with a tool. Then they said, “These are your gods, Israel, who brought you up out of Egypt.”
Here, are a hundred verses of the Bible mentioning ”other gods”.

Well, obviously.
Just like the Gods, all fictional characters made up to create order and make life a little less boring and meaningless.
They are all symptoms of our intelligence making us bored with life, wanting to have a purpose and feel important at all costs, and afraid of dying and returning to be what we were before being born…non-existent.
Pretty easy to understand if you ask me.
