They burned and killed three criminals in Chalco

They would have been accused of alleged robberies committed in the municipality of Chalco, and two adults and a minor were lynched, causing burns and leading them to certain death.

The events would have occurred between Saturday night and the early morning of Sunday, November 20, when the inhabitants came together to commit multiple homicides against whom they identified as criminals.

The Attorney General’s Office of the State of Mexico (FGJEM) reported that the victims were three men aged 21 and 22, as well as a minor under 17 years of age, who would have been murdered in the town, for which reason they are already investigating to clarify the facts.

“Testimonies indicate that several people attacked the victims in retaliation for possible robberies,” added the Prosecutor’s Office.

The first indications indicate that the lifeless bodies of the three subjects were found in an irrigation canal of farmland located on Los Pinos avenue, on the corner with Cuauhtémoc street, a few meters from the Los Álamos housing unit.

In the area, a white Ford Explorer van with State of Mexico license plates and a red scooter were found.

It turned out that the deceased were from the neighboring town of Santa María Huexoculco, also from the Mexican municipality of Chalco.

This is not the first time that residents lynch alleged criminals, arguing that they are doing justice on their own because the authorities release or protect the guilty.

The municipal authorities, who condemned that their citizens will take the law into their own hands, did not indicate what caused the lynching, but local media assured that it was because the deceased would have wanted to kidnap a minor.
