They find 121 migrants crammed into a truck on the NL highway

Hidden and crammed into a trailer were found 121 migrants illegally transported in a truck, in the municipality of Galeana, Nuevo León.

The people were crowded into an abandoned truck on the Matehuala-Saltillo highway, at kilometer 129+400.

At this point arrived elements of the National Guard (GN) after reporting a vehicle parked on the shoulder.

At the scene, the feds found the truck without a driver and noticed screams coming from inside the vehicle.

Upon inspection of the unit they found 121 migrantsamong them minors, from Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador and Cuba, detailed authorities.

After receiving medical attention, the group was transferred to a migration station in order to receive consular assistance and define their legal situation.

The vehicle in which they were traveling was secured and made available at the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR).
