In Monterrey, the National Guard seized a shipment of marijuana from a courier company.
In compliance with the National Strategy for Public Security, in Nuevo León, members of the National Guard located the packages in metal cabinets with an approximate weight of 250 kg.
During strategic actions to prevent the transfer and distribution of narcotics, currency and firearms, army personnel entered a courier and parcel company in Santa Catarina.
Prior authorization, the national guards carried out preventive screening of the various shipments, with the support of a canine binomial, who was struck by two large metal cabinets, wrapped in transparent plastic.
The narcotics come from the state of Jalisco and were seized and made available to the Attorney General’s Office.
