This Monday afternoon, in what appears to be a reckoning, a subject was shot to death in Ecatepec.
According to the first reports, minutes after 2:00 p.m. the victim was walking on the sidewalk of Avenida San Agustín, corner South 2, in Colonia San Agustín.
The subject, approximately 40 years old and whose identity was not revealed, according to witnesses, was followed by two men on a motorcycle.
After catching up with him, without saying a word, one of the perpetrators pulled out a firearm from between his clothes and shot him several times; After the attack, the subjects hurriedly escaped from the scene.
Elements of the Municipal Police and Civil Protection paramedics arrived at the site. The latter confirmed that the victim no longer had vital signs and only certified the death.
In the place the authorities counted 6 ballistic elements caliber 9 millimeters. They did not rule out a possible reckoning.
After attesting to the facts, the agent of the Public Ministry ordered the lifting of the body to be transferred to the Forensic Medical Service (SEMEFO) to carry out the necropsy of law and start the corresponding investigations.
