Dozens of carriers, mainly taxi drivers from various bases in this municipality, closed the roads due to alleged abuses by elements of the Secretary of Security of the State of Mexico (SSEM) at checkpoints that they carry out in various municipalities.
The act that paralyzed the southern zone, happened minutes after 11:00 a.m. this Friday, which caused the federal highway Toluca – Cd. Altamirano, to be completely closed to road traffic.
These blockades provoked the anger of motorists and citizens who interrupted their activities, and due to the presence of police elements, some patrol cars were allegedly burned in the community of Rincón de López, a fact that has not been confirmed by the respective authority.
Until now, the blockade persists in the southern municipality and the corresponding authorities have not reported anything about these blockades and confrontation, so it is unknown if there are people injured.
