On the morning of November 1, 2022, rapper Takeoff was murdered in Houston. Witnesses indicate that Quavo and Takeoff, 2 members of the now-defunct group “Migos” were playing dice when a fight began after Quavo repeatedly lost. , which triggered detonations of a firearm that ended the life of Takeoff who was 28 years old.
