An attack was reported against Conrado Mendoza Almeda, who was mayor of San Miguel Totolapan, local media reported that the person along with his father and members of the police died.
According to the first reports, the criminal group Los Tequileros was the criminal organization that launched the attack. Images of the facade of the San Miguel Totolapan mayor’s office have circulated on social networks, in which several bullet wounds can be seen.
In turn, blockades have also been reported in Poliutla, Guerrero. Similarly, after the armed attack, a video began to circulate in which alleged members of Los Tequileros appeared.
The father of the PRD mayor, identified as Juan Mendoza, former mayor, also died in the attack. Local media reported that after the attack, between 20 and 25 people were injured, according to witnesses in the area.
“THE TEQUILEROS” CLAIM ARMED ATTACKS IN SAN MIGUEL TOTOLAPAN, where they allegedly killed Mayor Conrado Mendoza, his father Juan Mendoza, and seven municipal police officers.
