For the crime of enforced disappearance against two men and a woman, They were arrested by state authorities two elements of the Municipal Police of Zacapu.
According to the investigation, around 5 p.m. on March 19, 2021, officers Marco Julius N. and Rosaline N. detained for no apparent reason Juan Manuel N. and Esther N., who were aboard a truck on the Ignacio Lopez Rayon Street of the Colonia Center of Zacapu.
Juan Manuel N. and Esther N. they were put on a patrol and taken in an unknown direction. Later, some friends of the victims, José Arturo N. and another unidentified person, went to the facilities of the Zacapu Municipal Police to ask if their friends were detained, without having positive results about their whereabouts, and when leaving the site Joseph Arthur also was deprived of his liberty.
These events were reported to the Specialized Prosecutor for the Investigation and Prosecution of Crimes of Forced Disappearance of Persons and Disappearance Committed by Private Parties, which began the investigations, managing to establish the participation of municipal agents. Rosaline N. and Marco Julius N., of whom he requested the respective arrest warrant, which was completed by staff of the institution.
The accused will be presented before the Control Judge who will resolve their legal situation in the next few hours. Likewise, investigations are continuing in order to establish the whereabouts of the victims, who until now remain missing.
